Over the years, I’ve played in both the women’s and mixed divisions with teams like Carleton College Syzygy and Seattle teams such as Tempest, Riot, Mixtape, and Spoke. I’ve had a ton of fun coaching middle school at Seattle Waldorf and spent last season with the Gx JV team at Lincoln High School. I really value a team culture where players feel comfortable pushing themselves, learning new skills, and bringing a drive to improve. I can't wait to bring my experience as both a player and coach to the Gx U-17 team this year!

Seattle has provided such impactful coaching that I have benefitted from tremendously, I hope to give back in the same way prior Seattle players have and shape the next generation of the city.
I have coaching experience with the Seven Hills Blue winter program and many Seattle Area camps with Cascades. I have also contributed to the West Seattle teams this year.
My playing experience started with Disc NW in 4th grade, eventually playing for their YCC teams through high school. In 2018 I made the Cascades and that is where my career started to takeoff. I played for UW for five years, captaining for two of those, and featured on Sockeye, Mixtape Souf, and the USA U24 Mixed team.

Seattle ultimate is where home is at, and after growing up with so many positive and influential ultimate role models, it only feels right that I return the favor to the community :) St. Olaf Vortex is where I have played D3 college ultimate, playing on Seattle END and Minneapolis POP during the summer(s), with an honorable mention of Cuernavaca Candela.

I coach because of how fulfilling it is for me. I care a lot about the “why” behind people do what they do, and working with players on what motivates them has lead to a lot of powerful moments. The moment where something “clicks”, on or off the field, is really rewarding for me.
I’ve coached high school in Seattle in the Bx, Mixed, Gx, and summer club seasons since fall 2023. Before 2020 I coached at summer camps and YCC in Atlanta. I currently play for Seattle Sockeye!

I coach because Ultimate was a really safe, fun, and challenging space for me growing up. I want to be able to give youth that space for themselves while competing at a high level!
Coached MS (1 year)
Coached HS (6+ years)
Coached Womxn's Club (3.5 years for END)

I coach because seeing someone grow in skill, confidence, and mindset is incredibly rewarding. Coaching allows me to be a part of that journey and to stay in touch with my community.
I bring 8 years of experience in youth ultimate frisbee coaching, having worked with individuals and teams at various stages of development ranging from elementary, middle school, and high school. My approach combines practical strategy with a focus on instinct, drawing from both personal experience and continued education in the field. Can't wait to see these athletes grow!

When I moved to Seattle officially in 2022, I began coaching UPrep’s Varsity Gx and Mixed seasons. Recently, helped coach the Roosevelt Varsity Mixed to a finals win! And currently am an assistant coach for Roosevelt Varsity Gx--go riders!
As a coach I support athletes in competing with each other and find joy in that competition. I coach because I want to give back to the sport of ultimate the same way so many have given to support my growth. Player success isn't always about just on the field, but supporting their opportunities to play, their opportunities to feel supported and joyful, and opportunities to ball out on the field.
Born and raised in Madison, WI, I got my start playing rec league the summer after I graduated high school. I’ve now played competitive ultimate for ten years and have the honor of representing Team USA-Mixed beach this fall in Portugal. Throughout my playing career I have coached youth camps and subbed in for various programs to support youth athletes. When I’m not playing or coaching ultimate I’m doing CrossFit, working for a climate and democracy non profit, and probably sharing fun facts about Wisconsin or reading.

I coach to train young people from all over the city to become better players and people. I coached U17 Bx for two years.

Growing up in Seattle, I had the privilege of being coached by athletes who competed at the highest level and took the time to invest in me. Watching them play and learning from their experience had a huge impact on me-not just as an athlete, but as a person. I believe in continuing this cycle-sharing what I’ve learned, just as it was shared with me, with an added layer of being someone they can relate to. As I was once in their position not too long ago.
This will be my 2nd year coaching a Seattle based YCC team and my 4th year coaching youth ultimate in Seattle.

I started playing frisbee at Pinehurst K-8 and have found a hidden love for the sport so I kept playing through high school at Rainier Beach. I played 3 years of under 20 during that time. I have just finished my first year with the University of Washington Sundodger.

Griffin Lo
I coach because I want to help make my players better on and off the field. I have a couple seasons of experience coaching Roosevelt JV boys and am excited to gain more experience as a coach.

Laura Mendomo
Coaching ultimate combines teaching a sport I love with helping young athletes build key life skills like teamwork and resilience. I find it incredibly rewarding to foster growth and watch players develop both on and off the field.
I discovered ultimate in my first year at the University of Rochester and have been playing club ever since. Over the past four years, I’ve coached Garfield High School’s JV and Varsity mixed and gx programs—and now, I’m excited to hit the ground running with Seven Hills!

Marc Munoz
I love giving back to the youth and teaching them skills to be better. Have coached all age ranges and would like to be a crucial part in making Seattle a well respected ultimate community.
