Hello Everyone! (Last updated 3/30/22)

This summer Seven Hills will run youth programming! However, what it looks like is still up in the air. Here are the two options we are looking at for high school programming (middle school below):

1. We receive YCC bids and accept them.  (Youth Club Championships in Blaine, MN, August 6-8)

Structure: Shortened season with tryouts required for participation. Mid June through August 8th. 2-3 practices per week. Evenings and weekend practices.

We applied for all divisions in hopes of receiving some number of bids so it is still unknown if these teams will be Open, Gx, and/or Mixed and U20 and/or U17. You can read more about USAUltimate and YCC here: https://usaultimate.org/youth/club-championships/

2. We don't receive YCC bids.

Structure: Season begins in mid-July through September 10th, ending with the teams attending Club Sectionals. 1 practice per week. Max 2 open, 2 gx teams. Tryouts are likely required if more sign up than there is space.

3. A mix of these options depending on the YCC bids received and accepted.

High school programming is for all players entering high school grades (9th/10th/11th/12th/ or beyond if the U20 age requirements are met)

Middle School Programming (kids entering 6th through 8th grade)

Structure: 1 practice per week on Sundays in July and August. One gx and one open team max. Based on sign ups, will consider expanding if sign ups surpass 30 per division. Will look to bring one or two mixed teams to Portland for Flick-or-Treat, a 5v5 event, close to Halloween weekend. Preference will be given to players in the MS summer program.
